For added strength and durability, the cupola's roof has reinforced rafters, and the louvered mid-section is equipped with interior wood framing braces. 18-gauge Heavy Duty staples are used instead of single nails to prevent components from shifting and for increased strength and durability.

The Weathervane-Ready Cupola includes a pre-installed weathervane bracket inside the roof for easy installation, and the weathervane rod can be easily inserted through the precut hole on top of the roof.

The simple assembly and easy installation of the cupola are further facilitated by the three-section design and the inclusion of assembly hardware, predrilled holes, and an easy-to-follow installation guide.

Measuring 18"W (at the roofline) x 22"H, with a total height of 46" including the weathervane, the cupola fits up to a 10/12 pitch roof (most roofs). When calculating the size of your cupola, use the steadfast builder's rule of thumb: 1.5 inches of cupola width for every foot of unbroken roofline.
