While using a long-handled fireplace tool, shift the coals and logs to allow for additional airflow. c. Wait until embers have developed before adding any additional wood. d. If additional wood is added, carefully place it on top of the embers. e. Use heat-resistant gloves and a fireplace tool to replace the spark protector/cover.
3. When in use, ensure there are no flammable materials around the fire pit.
4. Do not use the fire pit on flammable objects, such as wood or plastic.
5. Once the fire is out and the outdoor fireplace is cool, remove and properly dispose of the ashes.
6. Store the outdoor fireplace in a cool, dry location, away from children and pets.
